About the Team: FC St. George will begin play in the WPSL in the summer of 2010. Team Website: www.fcstgeorge.com Look for us on Facebook under "Fans of FC St. George" About the Coaching: Nick Nield - Head Coach I have had the opportunity to coach for about nine years. I have spent most of my time at Dixie High School in which I am part of the alumni. I helped coach the girls team for five years, and the boys team for four. I have also had the opportunity to coach a number of boys and girls club teams here in St. George. The last five years I have coached the St. George United U-16 and U-18 girls club teams. In 2002 and 2003 I was head coach of the Dixie State men's program. And just this last fall ('09) I was able to help coach the Dixie State women's program. I am dedicated to this beautiful game. I enjoy helping individuals with positive growth on and off the field. I look forward to helping soccer in southern Utah continue to grow. Assistant Coach - Seth Klingonsmith I have been coaching soccer for the past six years. Helping with the Dixie high girls program for six seasons and the boys for four. I have also been involved with girls and boys club teams ranging from U10 to U18 in the area during that time. I helped with the Dixie State womens team in 2006-2007. And I helped with the Utah ODP program in 2009. Soccer is a love and passion of mine. I still play weekly on both an indoor and outdoor team, and think that benefits me in my coaching. I enjoy helping the youth and spreading my love and knowledge of the beautiful game! General Manager - Scott Lambertsen Scott has been involved in soccer for 18 years as a youth coach in Cache Valley, Utah and in Southern Utah having been a head coach and assistant coach for several youth teams as well as being Head Coach of Dixie State College Men's Soccer Club for 2 years in 2006 and 2007. Scott holds a MS degree from Utah State University and a BS from Southern Utah University and works in management for Intermountain Healthcare.
Type of Players: We are seeking NCAA Div. I and II, NAIA, NJCAA or High School athletes.
