Dallas Premier came to Houston and proved very strong. Dallas scored first from a low cross to the near post and #27 Smith latched on to an open ball. Houston bounced back in the 72 nd minute with a goal by Katelyn Ross, who struck a powerful shot from about 25 meters to tie it up. Great saves in the first half by Michelle Rich to keep Houston in the game and strong defensive play by captain Jenn Hance to contain the fast pace of Dallas.
